Who Won the Biggest Loser 2010

In this years winner of the show "The Biggest Loser" is Michael Ventrella. He started with a weight of 526 pounds and lost 264 pounds throughout the season. He lost over 50% of his weight making it the most amazing loser of this year.

Michael Ventrella of Chicago won $250,000 and the title, followed by Koli Palu who won $100,000. NBC saw an increase in this season's ratings to they are planning to make another season of "The Biggest Loser".

Who Won Dancing with the Stars 2010

This year's winner of “Dancing With the Stars” are Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough. Their performance of the Argentino tango and Jive gave them the perfect score. Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya got the second spot followed by Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The stunning show of Nicole and Derek gave a very nice impression. Judge Len Goodman said, “There can only be one winner of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ It should be you.”

After the performance Nicole said, “This has been probably the greatest reward personally, this whole personal journey. I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve learned so much about Derek Hough. He’s made me a better person through this.”

Ali Fedotowsky, a very beautiful, charismatic career oriented woman is going to be in the 6th season of "The Bachelorette". Now, it's time to see who is she going to choose to spend her life with.

Sh already re-prioritized her life giving up some of her possessions  just to be in the show. She will be tagging with host Chris Harrison in the show starting tonight.

As expected in this show, there will be a drama that fans will be watching over and will definitely make the rating of the show high, and rumors will also be around.

Still's Disease

Still's Disease is a form of rheumatoid arthritis commonly found in children but it can be present to adults, but it is called Adult-Onset Still's Disease on them. It has systemic features and as you can see in the photos, red spots that appears in a part of the body and sometimes all over the body.

A theory said that this disease is caused by an infection of a microbe but the exact reason of Still's Disease is not yet known. Though unknown, there are infectious agents that are being considered as the reason for these which include  genetic predisposition, environmental triggers, abnormal immune response, and other types of arthritis.

24 Movie

Jack Bauer is finally getting a day off after battling with his life in the movie 24, just went off the air, but there are rumors running that there is going to be a TV show to be made based from the movie. Still Jack fighting and battling but this time, in Europe.

A statement from the Executive producer Howard Gordon said, “The current status of the movie is that Billy Ray has written a draft which Kiefer Sutherland has read, and we’re all working together on the second draft. Now, it’s not been shared with Fox or anybody so there is no official status right now. It’s very much a work in progress. Honestly, the movie division is on the other side of the lot and I don’t know and can’t measure their intentions or their timing, and certainly can’t measure their reaction to the script because they haven’t read it yet. ”

Dancing with the Stars Results May 18

Here we go again for the elimination results of the reality show "Dancing with the Stars".

The first couple who were safe are Ana and Evan Lysacek, followed by Derek and Nicole. As expected, every gave a stunning show making the decisions hard and votes are almost the same.

Unfortunately, Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl were eliminated and will not participate in the finals.

The sizzling hot Megan Fox was topless from a camera phone. As expected, she's on fire in anger and threatened those who spread the photo in the internet.

From the Megan's statement: “If I knew who took this picture, I would personally cause them harm — physical harm. I’m not a f***ing reality-TV star that’s courting the paparazzi and wants my f***ing picture taken all the time. I’m at my job and I’m trying to play a character and I’m trying to be serious, and this is the sh** that’s happening to me. It makes me furious.”

Jennifer Lyon, passed away in January 2010 because of breast cancer. She's a sweet person, indeed selfless and cares about others.

In 2005 she was diagnosed to have breast cancer, undergone double mastectomy and started her chemotherapy but unfortunately she did not endure the battle.

She will forever be remembered because of her courageous spirit. May you rest in peace Jennifer Lyon

The two-time NBA most valuable player LeBron James is said to be a free agent on July 1 and teams will be drooling to take this player in their team just like the New York Knicks.

But there's has been a talk of the town that they cannot get or lure James in their team because of the NBA salary cap. LeBron James is the NBA's top endorser while he is still in the Cavaliers.

According to the president of Evanston Doug Shabelman, “He’s only going to get bigger and better, whether he stays in Cleveland or goes to a different city. With the global economy and the global reach of the Internet and television, the difference isn’t as pronounced as it used to be.”

James was first drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 but before that, he went to St. Vincent - St. Mary High School, Ohio. He maintain his position as the NBA's most valuable player for the last 2 seasons and averaged more than 27 points a game.

Supernatural Season 6

Supernatural Season 6 is official! Creator Eric Kripke planned this show to only have 5 seasons but because of the public demand and ratings that increased sky-high, season 6 is finally created. Though Kripke not the showrunner for the upcoming show, he will still be the executive producer with Sera Gamble to take over the reins.

Executive producer Sera Gamble who will be the show runner said that the sixth season will focus on the brotherly relationship. So let's watch this season because it will possibly the final season of the show.

Beau Biden, the son of Vice President is in the hospital because of an alarming headache, according to the statement released from the VP's office.

Beau was experiencing some discomfort so he went to a Delaware hospital for some treatment. Doctors in Christiana Hospital is examining what caused the headache or what may be wrong. Beau is conscious and is communicating with his parents and his wife. Not very alarming but still have to take a close look about his condition.

Hopefully, Beau will soon get well.

Melissa Huckaby

Melissa Huckaby finally admitted to the accusations that she murdered the 8-year old girl Sandra Cantu. Melissa Huckaby is a California Sunday School Teacher and was accused as the murderer of Sandra Cantu. She claimed not guilty at first but today, a change of story and finally admitted the murder.

Sandra and Melissa were very close friends. Sandra was first missing on March 28, 2009. She was found in a suitcase in an irrigation April 7, 2009. This scene is very tragic and enough to make everyone hate and curse the suspect.

Melissa Huckaby is now sentenced with 25 years in jail.

Erica Blasberg

Erica Blasberg, a 25 year old LPGA golfer was found dead in her home in Henderson, Nevada Monday. Cause of death was unknown and not yet clear according to reports. Authorities are now conducting an investigation.

Blasberg is a 2003 NCAA Freshman of the year and 2003 Pacific-10 Player of the Year.


According to the statement released by Blasberg's agent, "We are devastated to learn of the passing of Erica Blasberg. To most of the world, Erica was known as a professional golfer, but she was more than that. She was a loving daughter to her parents and a compassionate and loyal friend. Erica had a good heart, was extremely kind and very thankful for what she had in her life."

Frank Frazetta, a popular illustrator and beset known for his book covers in Conan the Barbarian and Buck Rogers died on Monday. He was 82.

Steve Fercozo and Rob Pistella confired the death and the cause of the stroke. From a telephone interview, Pistella stated that Frank Frazetta came from a Mother's Day dinner with his family and suddenly he fell ill. Rushed to the hospital but he died upon arrival.

They have stores located in Paramus (NJ), Morristown (NJ), Brooklyn (NY), Westbury (NY), and the biggest store is in Lower Manhattan.

The company was first founded in 1961, and the store first in Lower Manhattan opened on April 3, 2000. It was left empty during the 9/11 terrorist attack but they remained in their site and reopened on 2002.

Nurses Day

May 6th, the National Nurses Day. Not only this day but throughout the week, from May 6th to 12th is considered the National Nurses Week.

It was first celebrated in May 8, 1988 but eventually it was changed to every Wednesday during the Nurses Week. This is also celebrated with a theme, in this year's theme: "Nurses: Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow."

Redstone Arsenal

A chemical explosion in Redstone Arsenal left two people injured, Wednesday. The explosion occurred around 8:45 am.

One of the injured was taken to the hospital with a chopper to receive medical  attention at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, and the other one was taken to Huntsville Hospital.

No clear details were released yet but officials said that workers were working on the rockets removing propellants and ammonium and suddenly it exploded. That was "highly dangerous work", U.S. Rep. Griffith said.

RFK Bridge

Week after the bomb threat and attempt in Times Square, a truck was abandoned in the New York's RFK Bridge, Wednesday night. Authorities then closed the road for the reason that the truck may have a bomb. The RFK Bridge connects Manhattan, Queen and the Bronx.

A worker of the bridge found the truck on the bridge, gas smelling with an Arizona  plate number in it. After reporting to the officials, they immediately close the bridge before anything could happen.

Cinco de Mayo History - Some say it should be a Mexican holiday but happens it's more of a US. Wayback 1862, it is a Mexican victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla.

According to Oscar Casares, a Professor in University of Texas-Austin, "The holiday, which has never really been much of one in Mexico, crossed over to this side of the border in the 1950s and 1960s, as civil rights activists were attempting to build harmony between the two countries and cultures."

According to Eric Lurio of the Huffington Post, "It's actually a Mexican-American holiday, which was for some reason very popular in California..."

Harry Connick Jr. and Lee DeWyze

Harry Connick Jr. was stunned by Lee DeWyze performance of "That's Life". He really adores Lee so much and thinks that she is an improved version of himself. Connick's wife also adores Lee So much.

Connick used a Hammon Organ for Lee's performance giving it a very nice blues feel. The band really made Lee show up though Ellen was distracted with the Organ but the arrangement was awesome!

Randy said, "Another great arrangement by a Louisiana boy, You stayed your rocker self. I loved it. I loved it."

Simon said, "You gave it a hundred and ten percent and I think it was, for all of us, by far, the best performance of the night."

Ernie Harwell

A very popular voice in baseball games ever heard just went silent, he is Ernie Harwell. Tuesday, he died in his home in Detroit battling against an inoperable cancer. He was 92.

Last year, Ernie Harwell announced that he had an inoperable bile duct cancer which he was battling until Tuesday. He died right beside his wife  Lulu.

Lynn Redgrave

Lynn Redgrave, an Oscar and Tony nominated star, died in her Connecticut home after a battle with breast cancer. She was first treated WAY BACK 2003.

The family is now asking for privacy which is harder than usual because of their status in life.

"Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer. She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives.", a statement from Lynn Redgrave's family.

Nashville Newspaper

Heavy rain caused flood in Central Tennessee killing 11 people and forcing other families to leave their homes for evacuation. A newspaper in Tennessee reported a 13 inch of water flooded the whole country. As expected, flights are cancelled, roads closed, everything is on hold.

National Weather Services advises that the flood will continue until Monday, but eventually the water will decrease.

Country singer Chely Wright admitted that she is a lesbian, she said in the People.com.

In her statement, "There had never, ever been a country music artist who had acknowledged his or her homosexuality, I wasn't going to be the first."

Being a lesbian is not easy for her. She faced obstacles and challenges knowing that being a lesbian is not always accepted in her community.

So though she admitted about her sexuality, she will always be a good country singer and her music will always be cherished.

Though Harris Bank is offline, the Harris Online Services is still online. 

The downtime was because the former costumers or Amcore Bank was acquired by Harris Bank so maybe they have to upgrade their systems to make it even more accessible.

The son of Donald Trump, Eric Trump, will be showing up on TV in the show "The Celebrity Apprentice", airing on May 2, 2010. He will also be a judge together with his parents Donald and Ivana Trump.

Episode 8 of season 9 will feature  Eric Trump according to Entertainment Weekly etc.

In this episode, the participants have to create a 3 radio commercials about a home repair company called Clockwork Home Services. It must be original combined with their strategies on how to make this task a winning move.

TeleNext Media Inc. announced her death last Saturday. Wagner holds a Guinness World Record for playing the same role for 54 years. She was also awarded with a lifetime achievement award from  Nationa Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Michael McAteer

Paul McCann and Michael McAteer confirmed that 900 employees will lose their job in the actual assessment that the administrators will do this week before presenting proposals to the Financial Regulator. The Quinn Insurance Ltd is now for sale.

McAteer and McCann is now facing a big challenge on how to announce this, and the even more challenging is telling the workers about their jobs.

Obama Cheating Scandal

President Barack Obama, being the center of a cheating scandal shocked the US. The news came out from the National Inquirer. 

This is not the first time that a cheating scandal appeared, like the ex-President Bill Clinton, but I'm not sure though whether this scandal is true or not. Let's find out.

Vera Baker, campaign aide, is the one who President Obama met in one hotel in Washington DC.

Anti-Obama groups are now giving up to $1M to anyone who really saw the scene and can prove that Obama and Baker were together. Officials and investigators are trying to asks for the hotels' surveillance tapes to see if this rumor is true.

Tylenol Recall 2010

Tylenol and Motrin, both big medicine brands are now worried of the news spreading. This is meant for adults but there are some that are giving this medicine to their children. What they are worried about is the side effect of the medicines are getting worse than expected. People are now facing this problem specially to those  who give this medicines to their children.

So far, no damages or sever side effects were reported yet. The concern of the recall is that these medicines doesn't satisfy minor conditions and that Tylenol has excess amount of ingredients. These ingredients may cause the harmful effects according to the company that are producing these medicines. This is going to be a major problem if time comes that side effect comes out to people who are clueless about this news.
